Python Visual Lab
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026 · Applies to pythonvisuallab.com and the Python Visual Lab Android app.
Who we are
Python Visual Lab ("we", "us") is an educational service that teaches Python programming through step-by-step code visualization. It is run by Muhammad Bilal Arshad. You can reach us anytime through the Contact page.
What we collect
We collect only what is needed to run the service:
- Account details. When you sign up, we store your email address and the display name you choose.
- Learning activity. Lesson progress, quiz attempts and scores, lesson star ratings, and code snippets you choose to save in "My Lab".
- Messages you send us. Contact form and feedback submissions (name, email and your message).
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, files, or any data from other apps on your device.
How your code is handled
Code you type into the visualizer runs entirely on your own device, inside your browser or the app. It is not sent to our servers, not stored by us, and not shared with anyone — unless you explicitly save a snippet to your account.
How we use your data
- To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
- To save your lesson progress, quiz results and saved code so they are there when you return.
- To reply to your contact and feedback messages.
- To understand which lessons are useful and improve the service.
We never sell your personal data, and we never show you third-party advertising.
Where your data is stored
Your account and learning data are stored securely on our cloud backend (Lovable Cloud). Access is protected so that each learner can only see their own progress, snippets, quiz results and lesson ratings. Only the site administrator can read contact and feedback messages.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage only to keep you signed in and to remember display preferences (such as visualizer size and playback speed). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Third-party services
The Android app is distributed through Google Play, and signing in with Google is offered as an option. These services are governed by Google's own privacy policy. We receive only the basic account information needed to sign you in (your email address).
Children's privacy
Python Visual Lab is a learning tool suitable for students. We do not knowingly collect personal data beyond an email address and chosen display name, and we never show advertising. If you believe a child has provided us personal information inappropriately, contact us and we will remove it.
Your rights and choices
- You can update your display name anytime on your Profile page.
- You can delete saved snippets and contact messages from your dashboard.
- You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data by messaging us through the Contact page. We will complete deletion within 30 days.
Data security
All connections to pythonvisuallab.com and the app use encrypted HTTPS. Account data is protected by access rules that restrict every record to its owner. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we follow industry-standard practices to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced on the site. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
